Illustrator Joe Todd Stanton, guest at the South Ken Kids Festival 2018

Let's introduce Joe Todd Stanton's magical drawings! He will be a guest at the South Ken Kids festival this year.

Brighton-born illustrator Joe Todd Stanton now lives in London. He studied at Bristol University receiving a first class degree in Illustration, before being discovered by the British audience with The Secret of Black Rock which was published in 2017 by Flying Eye Books to great acclaim.

In France, Le Secret du Rocher Noir is published by L’école des Loisirs this year and we hear it’s already sold out.

In the UK, he works with several well-known publishing houses such as Bloomsbury, Oxford University Press and Flying Eye Books.

Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx

The Secret of Black Rock

From The Secret of Black Rock to Marcy and the Riddle of the Sphinx, Joe Todd Stanton’s stories stage fearless little heroes with an adventurous spirit and a kind heart.

For instance in the first one, you discover Erin who is fascinated by the stories of Black Rock: a huge, dark and spiky mass that is said to destroy any boats that come near it! But are the tales really true? One day Erin sneaks on board her mother’s fishing boat to find out…

It is our great pleasure to welcome him  at the South Ken Kids festival this year for a wonderful workshop inspired by his books. Get your tickets here : https://bit.ly/2MFjbvi
